Rental Terms Addendum
Assumption of Risks & Waiver Reference
All renters and participants are required to read, understand, and sign the Le Paddle Comprehensive Liability Waiver before participating in any activities or taking possession of rental equipment.
By signing the waiver, you acknowledge that paddling and related water activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, drowning, wildlife encounters, equipment failure, weather changes, and other unforeseen circumstances.
You accept full responsibility for your safety and voluntarily assume all associated risks.
Indemnification & Release of Claims
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Le Paddle Shediac, its owners, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your participation in rental activities or your use of Le Paddle’s equipment.
Safety Equipment & Usage Requirements
- A Personal Flotation Device (PFD) must be worn at all times while using any rented watercraft.
- You agree to follow all safety instructions provided by Le Paddle staff.
- You must be physically fit and medically able to participate.
Le Paddle reserves the right to refuse rental service if safety requirements are not met.
Responsibility for Equipment & Damage
- You are responsible for the care of the equipment while it is in your possession.
- Any damage, loss, or theft will be charged at full replacement value, as determined by Le Paddle.
- Equipment must be returned clean and on time; late fees and cleaning fees may apply.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick, Canada.

By proceeding with your rental, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and the waiver conditions.
