Payment

Full payment is required before gear is released. We accept e-Transfer, Visa, and Mastercard. Payment can be made online or in-store.

Security Deposit

A valid government-issued photo ID and a credit card are required at check-in. We reserve the right to pre-authorize your card for a security deposit.

Damage, Loss & Responsibility

• All renters must sign a liability waiver assuming full responsibility for the equipment.
• Renters under 18 require a parent or guardian’s signed consent.
• Any damage, loss, or theft will be charged at full retail replacement value, including repair costs.
• Please treat our equipment with care – like it’s your own – to avoid extra charges.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We understand plans change and will do our best to be fair:

• 72+ hours notice – Full refund
• 24–72 hours – 50% refund
• Less than 24 hours or no-show – No refund
• Weather-related exceptions may apply, with the possibility of rental credit at our discretion.

Right of Refusal

Le Paddle reserves the right to refuse rental to anyone if we believe it would pose a risk to:

• The renter
• Others
• Our equipment

Reasons may include but are not limited to: suspected intoxication, disrespectful behavior, lack of ability, adverse weather, or unsafe behavior.

Liability Waiver & Safety Requirement

• All participants 18+ must sign a waiver.
• Minors under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
• You must be able to swim. Paddling is a water sport with inherent risks.

After-Hours & Late Returns

• Rental time begins at the reserved start time.
• Late returns incur the same per/hour rental fee for equipment unless due to unsafe conditions (as determined by Le Paddle).
• After-hours pickup/returns must be arranged in advance and may include additional fees.
• No refunds for early returns.

Delivery & Pick-Up

We offer delivery and pick-up services on request for an additional fee.
All arrangements must be confirmed at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise agreed, pick-up and return happen during business hours only.
